1. Return Policy
We do not accept returns for regular purchases. Returns are only accepted for damaged items or delivered wrong product/size. Please contact our customer service within 2 days of delivery for assistance.
2. Unboxing Video for Returns
An unboxing video is mandatory for returns to verify the condition of the item. "We totally get it—filming feels like homework. But this helps us fix the problem faster for you (and stop it from happening again)!"
You must provide the unboxing video that meets the following conditions:
1. Single continuous shot – The video must be recorded in one take, without cuts or edits.
2. Clear and visible – Product, packaging, and shipping label must be clearly visible throughout.
3. 360-degree view – The video must show a full 360° view of the sealed package before opening.
4. Start before opening – Begin recording before opening the package and continue until the product is fully unboxed and inspected.
If the product is found to be defective, our team will conduct a quality check to verify the issue. Upon confirmation of the defect, we will issue a full refund, including the product cost and shipping charges.
Please note: We do not offer a pickup facility for returns at this time. The customer is responsible for shipping the returned item back to us. We recommend using a reliable courier service to ensure safe delivery.
3. Return Conditions:
- Returns are accepted within 2 days from the date of delivery.
- The product must be in its original, unworn, and unwashed condition with all tags attached.
4. Exchange
Exchanges are not permitted at this time. If you receive a damaged item, please refer to our return policy.
Return Policy for Sarees
At Chicyards, we strive to provide high-quality sarees that meet your expectations. However, we understand that sometimes returns may be necessary. Please carefully review our return policy below:
Defects Considered for Return:
We will gladly accept returns for sarees with the following defects:
- Tear in the Saree: If the saree is delivered with any visible tear or damage, it is considered defective.
- Delivered wrong product: The saree delivered is different from what you ordered, or the colour of the saree delivered is not the same as ordered.
What Is Not Considered a Defect:
1. Small Knots or Bumps in Threads: Our sarees are carefully crafted by skilled artisans, and minor knots or bumps in threads may appear as part of the natural weaving process. These are not considered defects and are inherent to the textile. Therefore, they will not be grounds for returns or exchanges.
2. Uneven Threads Connecting the Border to the Body: Sarees are handwoven, and, at times, you may notice slight variations in the threads connecting the border to the body. These subtle inconsistencies are part of the authentic handcrafting process and are not defects. Such irregularities will not be considered valid reasons for return or exchange.
3. Minute Gaps in and Around Motifs: Handcrafted sarees often feature intricate motifs, and small gaps around these designs can occur during the weaving or embroidery process. These slight imperfections are not considered defects but are part of the handmade nature of the product. As such, they will not be eligible for return or exchange.
4. Colour Mismatch: We take great care in ensuring that the colours of our sarees are accurately represented in the images on our website. However, due to differences in individual device settings (such as screen brightness, resolution, and colour calibration), the colour of the saree may appear slightly different from what you see on your screen. Please note that colour mismatches due to device display variations are not considered grounds for return.
Return Conditions:

- The saree must be returned in the original packaging to ensure it arrives safely.
- You must provide an unboxing video that meets the conditions mentioned above.
